Overview
Scott has over 14 years’ experience in providing accounting and financial consulting to government and corporate clients in Australia, Asia and Europe. He has strong financial costing and analytical skills and experience gained from direct involvement both in private and government sector projects and assignments including a range of 1st and 2nd pass business case submissions. With over 6 years of direct experience and involvement in the financial management of large-scale IT, infrastructure and Defence projects, Scott has an excellent understanding and practical ability to deliver strategic financial analysis and advice to project teams and key decision makers.
Scott has also held a CFO (SES Band 1) role for a Commonwealth Agency and was responsible for the preparation of the Portfolio Budget Statements, CBMS reconciliation, the audited financial statements, FMIS implementation, strategic and operational budgets and managed the external scoping review undertaken by government into the agency’s core business. This role also included the direct management of over 40 staff.
Scott is an advanced Excel programmer with the ability to incorporate VBA and Macro code into custom built applications and templates for clients. He is also experienced in database development and OLAP applications for business intelligence and analysis purposes.
