As the dust settled on the event, our fundraising count kept on ticking over… And we are absolutely stoked to announced that we have now raised $4,510 for the Cancer Council. At Analytics Group, when we put our mind to something, we see results. A big thanks to our fabulous staff whose enthusiasm and drive made our involvement in the event so successful, and of course a massive thank you to everyone who sponsored us.

“Relay For Life is an incredible overnight event that is an opportunity for family, friends and colleagues to get together with the community and celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.

It is a unique event where teams of 10 to 15 challenge themselves to take turns to keep a baton moving in a relay style walk or run overnight. Each event is unique and you can stay for the whole event, camp overnight, or just visit and enjoy the free entertainment, prizes and ceremonies that make Relay For Life so inspirational.”

Our team theme is rock’n'roll and we’ve called ourselves “The AGroupies”, so watch out for wigs and Acker Dacker t-shirts if you venture too near!

We’ve set up a facebook page where we’ll be posting updates and building our community for support on the day/night, so head on over and ‘like’ us – everyone loves a ‘like’!

We have  just confirmed our booth at the ACT Chartered Accountants Employment Evening on Thursday 8 March 2012, and we’re really excited about meeting some enthusiastic, up-and-coming graduates.

Analytics Group consultants tend to be highly skilled and experienced individuals with particular expertise in certain areas. But that doesn’t mean we’re not on the look out for top-notch graduates with a passion for learning, to mentor into crack consultants. We’re pretty sure we’re the best employer for bright young accountants who think outside the square – the variety of work, access to clients, and opportunity to step up to greater responsibility sooner, are far greater with us than with some of our larger competitors. There might be easier places to get a job but, if you pass muster, the rewards with Analytics Group are more satisfying.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia does a fantastic job with these events, so it should be a lot of fun.
